Our Long Poly Practice Chanter with Imitation Ivory Sole is based on our best-selling long poly model, with a more traditional finish at the base of the chanter.

The full-length design gives players the familiar balance and feel we recommend for most pipers, while the imitation ivory sole adds a clean, classic appearance without sacrificing the durability and consistency of poly.

Like every Gibson practice chanter, this model is built to be treated as a complete instrument rather than a disposable training tool. It is designed for serious everyday practice and is equally suitable for beginners, instructors, and experienced players.

Every Gibson practice chanter now includes our new Moisture-Control Top as standard. The removable mouthpiece helps manage moisture during regular practice, while the open internal design avoids adding noticeable airflow resistance and preserves the familiar response and playing characteristics of the Gibson practice chanter line.
