Gibson Cocobolo Firesides

Our Firesides are fun and easy to play, have extraordinary harmonics, and are an excellent option for indoor piping. Available in the key of A or the key of Bb, the Firesides are able to play along with many other instruments, much easier than a set of Highland pipes. They can also easily be converted between keys with the switching out of the chanter and reeds. Each drone is able to be individually turned on and off with the rotation of the respective regulator stock. Whether you'd like a set for practicing, performing, or starting a ceilidh band, these won't disappoint! 

Cocobolo is a beautiful and unique-looking wood. It produces a soft, mellow tone. 

These Cocobolo Firesides are available with brass, stainless steel, or imitation ivory ferrules, as well as without ferrules. 

Each set of our smallpipes comes fully set up with reeds and tied into a medium Bannatyne synthetic bag. Please contact us if you're interested in additional options such as a different size bag, etc.
